Essentially, ESP is strategically designed to be sleeker, more cost-effective, and generally tailored intuitively to a company’s business paradigm as compared to traditional ERP solutions. ESP21^TM represents a comprehensive family of solutions suited to deployment in businesses of all sizes, rather than strictly being positioned for the largest of business environments.

ESP as a strategy was created specifically to address these concerns. The solution, when teamed with the ESP Support Team, assimilates work flow and business process needs and applies the use of solution inherent logic, such as “Business Insight,” to optimally reach solution goals. Rather than using traditional consulting and resultant reverse engineering
tactics, ESP by design expects the unexpected while still maintaining the integrity of business controls and management. Simply put, it is initially comprehensive yet still intuitive and responsive to your business needs, growth, and ever-evolving demands.

Great question, and we love addressing this one. Enterprise software development is, by definition, a long and exhaustive process. Most solution vendors, and in particular those that have provided solutions of this kind for any length of time, originated in what are now outdated technologies and have had to deal with managing the legacy of their existing install base while trying to keep pace with changes in technology and platform. That is a daunting, if not impossible, task. The solutions making claims regarding their technology positioning, including those marketed and sold by Microsoft, have an ancestry that by far predates current technology paradigms. As a result, they clearly were not designed to optimally take advantage of current platform strengths since the current technology did not exist in any form during much of their lifecycle and development.

ESP21TM was natively built with current technology. We started out on the current platform, have grown with it, become comprehensive, and even suffered through the “technology growing pains” on the platform as it matured and reached its current state of mission-critical solution viability.
ESP21^TM was designed from the ground up to be a “new breed” solution on the current platform. The others simply cannot say that, and furthermore, in the absence of their embarking upon and creating a “new breed” solution of their own, they have been forced into the position of migrating to current technology standards while continuing to leverage outdated solution logic within their applications and data management systems. ESP21^TM is a true result of current solution capabilities.

Our vision is somewhat different in this regard. While we do directly provide solutions and their support through the ESP Solution team, we also engage and work with consultants and other qualified resources. We view through our own experiences that providing a solution is a good bit more effective if we have some level of involvement and are teamed closely(see the solution support page) with external resources. The conventional reseller paradigm has serious flaws in that it maintains heavy pressure on a reseller to continue selling as their principal objective while insulating the software vendor from true personal contact with the install base.

The “old” reseller channel strategy predates current solution support capabilities, namely web-based support. It is our preference to work a bit more selectively with respect to external resources and consider these resources a true extension of our own Solution team rather than a 2nd tier hierarchical marketing and sales component.

Of course, that is part of the overall strategy. Tools such as Microsoft Office can, if desired, be a desktop extension of the ESP21^TM solution. ESP Applications utilize Microsoft tools throughout and, by design, are positioned to empower your company through the use of both a familiar look and feel within the applications as well as a seamless integration of the applications and tools you already use.

ESP based applications are designed to be intuitive. They respond by using what we call “Business INsight Configuration” and when deployed in your business environment can adapt to the work-flow paradigm that is critical to your business. We won’t force you to change what works well for you simply to comply with an existing software work-flow. Furthermore, we strategically avoid the traditional concepts associated with “software customization.” ESP based solutions are engineered to be evolved, expect the unexpected and respond with strategic and manageable options for success.
